It’s the place where young people can grow to become their very best future selves.
In the outdoors, youth have opportunities to acquire skills that make them more self-reliant. They can canoe, camp and hike and complete challenges they first thought were beyond their ability. There is no greater teacher than the great outdoors. Our Scouting program instills in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

About our volunteers
We have an incredible volunteer staff dedicated to serving and preparing our youth to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We believe that every youth deserves a well-trained leader, and our leaders have extensive training to ensure that our youth have the best experience possible.
We have a “Scout-led” Troop that requires a significant amount of preparation and pre-planning “behind the scenes” (whether the event is a regular Troop meeting, community service event, campout, or high adventure trip) by a combination of the SPL, ASPLs, and adult leadership well before the event/activity occurs.
There’s never been a more exciting time to be a part of our Scouting family, and we invite you to join us for fun and adventure! We meet most Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Please contact us for more information. We hope to see you soon!
